The client is a leading integrated resort, known for its luxurious accommodations and premium guest experiences. Before partnering with us, the resort faced challenges with its amenities provider, resulting in periods of insufficient stock and inconsistent quality. Additionally, the amenities lacked branding and sustainable design, leading to excess waste.

Challenges

  • Frequent Supply Disruptions: The provider's lack of planning caused interruptions in stock availability, impacting the resort's operations.

  • Unbranded, Non-Premium Amenities: Previous amenities were unbranded and lacked a premium appearance, affecting the resort's luxury image.

Our Solution

 

To address these challenges, we implemented several innovative initiatives to improve the quality, sustainability, and efficiency of the resort's amenities:

Premium Branded Amenities Program: We curated a premium branded amenities program for both liquid and dry amenities, elevating the guest experience and reinforcing the resort's luxury image.

 

Innovative Packaging Solutions: By replacing laminated paper packaging with water-resistant packaging, we reduced waste from unused amenities. This change prevented an estimated 0.46 tonnes of packaging waste and 6.44 tonnes of unused amenities waste annually.

 

Optimized Transport Packaging: We optimized transport packaging by using lighter materials and larger capacity shipper cartons, resulting in a net reduction of 3.69 tonnes of transport packaging per year.

 

Sustainable Liquid Amenities: We replaced wall-mounted dispensers for liquid amenities with collapsible refill packs, significantly reducing plastic waste by an estimated 0.94 tonnes annually and transport packaging by 0.50 tonnes per year.
